A Guide through the Brisbane Airport's International Terminal for people living with Dementia and their travel companions
Thanks to funding from the Dementia Centre for Research Collaboration and Queensland University of Technology as part of an Australian Government initiative, a new travel resource is now available to assist people living with Dementia and their travel companions when using the Brisbane Airport’s International Terminal.
"This new resource aims to help make air travel as simple and enjoyable as possible – from planning and getting to the airport, through to the departure gate and returning safely home again."
With the valued support of the Brisbane Airport Corporation, the project was led by: Dr Maria O’Reilly, Professor Elizabeth Beattie, Professor Helen Edwards, Professor Jill Franz, Ms Sandra Jeavons, Ms Nicole Shepherd and Professor Lindy Willmott.
