  A Question of Care Video

By the year 2000, it is estimated that half a million people Australia-wide will be diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. As Australia's population ages, more and more attention will be focused on issues concerning older people, including the appropriate care for those suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's Disease and support for their carers.

This video gives a brief overview of dementia and Alzheimer's Disease and looks at how some families are caring for a person with dementia at home, with support. The video introduces the Alzheimer's Association of Queensland, outling the philosophy of the organisation and the kind of support that it offers to people with dementia and their carers.
