These
courses are designed to equip family members with
an understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's Disease
and the way it will affect their family member or
friend. It will provide an understanding of areas
that will contribute to or perhaps cause challenging
behaviours and strategies to manage these behaviours.
These courses emphasise the need for carers to "look
after themselves" and ways to achieve.
