The Association suggests that if a gift of this nature is being considered, the donor should consult a legal advisor. It is also possible to make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association of Queensland Inc. with all donations of $2.00 and over being tax deductible. Suggested bequest wording:

"I give, devise and bequeath to the Alzheimer's Association of Queensland Inc. the sum of $.......................... and/or the following property .............................................. free from all State death duty to be used for the express purpose of ............................................. and the receipt from the President and/or Treasurer for the time being of the Association shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustees for the payment of such legacy."
