The Home and Community Care Program (known as HACC) funds organisations that help people stay at home. This is based on the idea that most people would prefer to live in their own home with extra support if necessary. This extra support is referred to as community care. Some community care services will suit your requirements better than others, while others will become more relevant as the disease progresses. There is also some overlap between services. Which services you choose will depend on what is available in your area.
