What
are living with memory loss education and support
groups?
These
groups are especially for people with early stage
of dementia, and a family member or friend. Information
and support groups run for 6-8 weeks, comprising two
hour sessions, one day a week. Two groups run at the
same time - one for people with early stage dementia
and the other for a family member or friend. Those
with dementia can attend without a family member or
friend if they prefer. Ongoing support groups usually
meet monthly. The information and support groups are
free of charge.
